Jacksonville, Florida

What was your childhood nickname?
Beetle (because he drove a VW Beetle)

What did you want to be when you grew up?
An accountant

What’s your middle name?
Khalil Farah (his father’s and grandfather’s first names)

If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive, who would it be and why?
Barack Obama, because he’s very intelligent and insightful. I think he’d be interesting to talk to, and I could see myself sitting down and wanting to listen to him. (Sean Connery was a close second!)

There’s no such thing as luck. Success happens because you prepare for it and put yourself in a position to take advantage of opportunities. You get out of life what you put in it.

My kids

Tell me something people don’t know about you
I’m the youngest of six kids. I was born in Jordan and lived there until I was around eight years old. I am also fluent in Arabic.

Juggling the various responsibilities of being a husband and a father

I have two kids. A boy and a girl, aged one and three

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
