Leigh Lafever-Ayer
VP Human Resources – UK/Ireland
Leigh started her Enterprise career in Nashville, Tennessee after graduating college in 1989, and since then, she has held many roles in Enterprise rental, talent development and human resources. Leigh is passionate about diversity, inclusion and equality and champions many activities especially around gender diversity, including being creator and editor of DRIVE. Outside Enterprise, she is on the board of Business In The Community's Gender Equality Leadership Team, she is on the advisory board of the Global Diversity Practice and also on a board advisor to Bridge Builders, a mentoring programme for socially and financially excluded teenagers.
Poppy Faithfull
PR & Corporate Communications Specialist – Europe
Poppy started her Enterprise career on the industrial placement programme, working as an intern in PR & Corporate Communications before being offered a specialist role in the team. She is responsible for advancing the company’s reputation as the world’s leading mobility provider and further accelerating purpose-driven communications to inform, engage and build trust with key audiences. Poppy is an advocate for diversity and inclusion, always looking for opportunities to promote positive change in the workplace. She is on the board of the Disability Committee as well as being an active member of Women's Initiative Network, a place where women can be unapologetically ambitious.
Sarah Williams
National Account Manager – UK/Ireland
Sarah joined Enterprise in 2004, and progressed through rental operations and sales to her current role as a national account manager on our UK sales team, managing a diverse customer base of customers utilising Enterprise Flex-E-Rent, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Enterprise Car Club. Sarah focuses on the customer journey, on improving access to and utilisation of our varied products and services to give our customers the best possible experience when choosing Enterprise as their mobility partner. Sarah is a key member of the Women in Sales network, and Enterprise’s WIN network, and is a qualified Mental Health First Aider.
Clare Beynon
Talent Acquisition Manager – Marketing - UK/Ireland
Clare joined Enterprise Rent-A-Car as a Management Trainee in 2002. From here, Clare has developed a multifaceted career within HR as well as operations and as an Area Manager. Diversity and inclusion has been at the forefront of Clare’s career. She has been on the Drive editorial board for 10 years, is a key partner and lead on Women in Rental and Leadership events, and is now also responsible for the team that targets universities and colleges throughout the UK/Ireland to recruit our next generation of diverse leaders. Clare sits on the Enterprise Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council for the UK, co-chairs the Institute of Student Employers EDI Task Group and leads on our partnership with the Auto30% Club.
Emma Grant
Human Resources Manager
I moved into HR in 2003, initially in Training & Development, then in Talent Acquisition, after working four years in operations and becoming a branch manager. I worked an AWA for 10 years to help me juggle with two children born 18 months apart. I joined the EU99 HR Team as a HR Generalist Manager in August 2019.
I decided to go back to college one night a week to gain my CIPD professional human resources qualification when the children got older. I enjoy the psychological side of HR and I am also now a Mental Health First Aider.
This year I launched Café Stop – a Teams based introduction service for Enterprise employees who would never usually cross paths. It’s grown every month since the launch, and this month we had over 200 employee sign-ups.
Molly Smith
Remarketing Account Manager
I started my Enterprise journey as a Placement Intern in 2016 at Heathrow Airport, and rejoined Enterprise as a Management Trainee in 2019. In under 12 months I was promoted to Assistant Manager of the flagship Brighton store, and then moved to manage both Hove and Portslade as a Branch Manager. For the past year I have been working as a Remarketing Account Manager across the South Coast, looking after local dealerships selling used cars and purchasing vehicles for our ever-growing rental demand.
I was a member of the Women In Leadership Committee while working in daily rental, and I am now a proud member of the Women In Remarketing team. Our goal is to increase female representation both internally and in the motor trade as a whole.
Rovida Ramzan
Deployment Operations Manager
Rovida started her Enterprise journey in 2007 and has since worked in three different groups and relocated multiple times, being promoted to Area Manager before taking a position in Flex-E-Rent as Deployment Operations Manager.
Rovida has three children and has worked an AWA for a number of years. She is an advocate for career progression opportunities for working mums. She has mentored many successful BAME employees to promotion and she has delivered keynote speeches at several Minorities in Leadership events across Enterprise. Currently she is a co-chair for the Flex-E-Rent DE&I Committee and is also a member of the UK DE&I committee. She is particularly passionate about the theme of BAME employee equity.
Rachel Maitland
HR Generalist
Rachel joined Enterprise in 2016 as an Intern for the HR department in the Scotland and Northern Ireland group. After working her way up to HR Generalist for the European Head Office, Rachel now supports the Sales, Franchise, and IT department.
Rachel is a Mental Health First Aider, helped to set up the Women in Sales Network and sits on the Charity Committee to help Enterprise give back to local communities. She loves meeting new people and hearing their stories and hopes to share the amazing things that Enterprise and its employees do with Enterprise DRIVE readers.
Jennifer Koontz
AVP European Airport Properties & Relations
Jennifer started her Enterprise career at EHI’s corporate headquarters in St. Louis in 2001 and moved to the UK to work at the headquarters at EU99 in 2014. She has held a variety of corporate roles in government and public affairs, car sales, real estate and airports. Jennifer is an ardent supporter of diversity, inclusion and equality in the workplace and champions many activities especially around gender diversity and battling gender bias. She was responsible for introducing the Lean In initiative to EU99. Outside Enterprise, she has served on the board of Nurses For Newborns in St. Louis, has been actively involved with Girl Scouts of the USA and is a mentor to many women at Enterprise.
Emily Wells-Burr
Corporate Communications Manager
Emily holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and joined Enterprise in 2021 as Communications Manager. Her role is to job shape and maintain the company’s reputation across Europe to be the world’s leading mobility provider. Emily is a creative storyteller with a nose for finding stories that showcase growth, development and people. She has previously worked on campaigns to promote female empowerment and body positivity and is committed to driving purpose led initiatives across the Enterprise business.
Sophie Draper
Talent Acquisition Specialist
Sophie joined Enterprise as a Management Trainee in 2016 and after multiple promotions, she now works as part of Talent Acquisition marketing, attracting the next generation of talent.
Sophie champions female hiring, devising innovative ways to attract women to join Enterprise. She was integral to the staging of Enterprise’s first virtual International Women’s Day event which was attended by almost every university in the UK. Enterprise’s passion for DE&I was one of the main drivers for attracting Sophie to join Enterprise, and she feels honoured to play a part in continuing these efforts.
Marissa Hunt
Damage Recovery Specialist
I started at Enterprise in March 2021 and I'm proud to have been named 'rookie of the month' within my first three months.
I feel extremely passionate about working at Enterprise and have already connected to so many different people. I am looking forward to putting my passion to good work as part of the DRIVE magazine team.
Getting rid of the stigma surrounding mental health is extremely important to me and is somewhere I want to make a difference. I was heavily involved in mental health week within the Damage Recovery by helping people to speak out.
Doug Clark
Damage Recovery Operations Manager
Doug started his Enterprise career in Aldershot, Hampshire as a Customer Service Apprentice in the Reservations team of the Contact Centre in 2011. After 6 months in the role, he moved to the Damage Recovery Unit (DRU) and has held a variety of different roles within the DRU since most recently as the Operations Manager overseeing the damage claim relay. Doug has led many initiatives across EBS and ABS, including BOSS groups and NVQ focus groups, and most recently part of the Education Group of ABS DE&I Committee. Doug is an advocate for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and is continually looking for ways to broaden his own learning to help support his understanding and that of his teams too.
