Career Progression

What if moving up means moving home?

Many women within Enterprise cite relocation as a major barrier to career progression. The prospect of moving in order to take advantage of a new opportunity seems like an impossible task.

It’s not only women with young children who feel this way. Even single women find that society and families can seem to place insurmountable pressures which make it hard for women to relocate.

But are there ways of overcoming the hurdles and making relocation not only a manageable part of work and home life - but potentially also finding exciting new opportunities in new locations?

We spoke to three Enterprise women in very different roles, who have each managed to make a virtue of relocation in order to get ahead in their careers.
