Business in the Community, the European Diversity Awards and Women of the Future have recognised Enterprise as an organisation that strongly promotes diversity.
Enterprise participates in these awards in order to ensure its diversity practices are the best they can be.
Business in the Community named Enterprise as a top 10 diversity employer in the UK, alongside a prestigious list of companies which included BT, KPMG and BSkyB.
To be included in the BITC rankings, the company was judged by a team of diversity experts on its internal processes, recruitment, training and development initiatives, as well external activity that promotes equality, diversity and inclusion.
Enterprise then beat off strong competition for this year’s Corporate Award at the eighth annual Women of the Future Awards, which recognised the company doing the most to support and nurture young women in business.
Supported by patron Cherie Blair, these awards recognise outstanding women aged 35 and under, as well as create role models for the next generation of women in business through the Women of the Future Ambassadors Programme.
The judges were impressed by Enterprise’s training and development programmes, which demonstrated that it is a company where young women can thrive. Commenting on the award, the judges said: “this privately owned, global business is really in touch with the individuals who make up its workforce, and is creative in ensuring that their talents are realised.”
Enterprise was High Commended as the top diversity Company of the Year at the European Diversity Awards in September.
